As a little boy in the late 1960's, I fell head over for tress. I climb them all the time. especially when the wind picks up. I would wrap my legs around the highest branch, bear hug, and let the wind rock me to and fro like a leaf in the breeze. This childhood obsession grew into a lifelong passion that led me into the tree industry. I became a professional tree climber, a logger, and eventually a heavy equipment operator, dedicating my life to working with these towering giants. I've been around long enough and learned a lot about tress. They're unique, full of wisdom, and deeply connected to the spiritual world. Trees know religion well. I've come to see them as friends, guardianseve, their sacrifice brings life to the church, their very essence woven into place of worship.
